PROLOGUE

(Singhania Household)

Sanjana was admiring Reyansh’s photo on her phone, giggling softly as she took screenshots of his Instagram story.

Today, she was shifting to the Royals School dorm. As she stepped into 10th grade, her uncle and family believed it would be best for her to study while staying on campus. It had been Sanjana’s idea to move into the dorm—after all, it had high security.

But safety wasn’t the real reason she was going there.

“Sanju!! Come downstairs. Don’t you dare skip your breakfast before leaving!” her aunt shouted from the hall.

Sanjana smiled at her aunt’s concern, shaking her head as she packed the last of her things.

She came downstairs and hugged her aunt from behind.
“I’m gonna miss you, my bumblebee!” she said, kissing her cheek.

Aunt Sarah was already teary-eyed. The thought of Sanjana leaving for the hostel made her emotional, and seeing her only made it worse.

“Oh ho! Stop crying, bumblebee. If Uncle Adrian sees you like this, he’ll kill me!” Sanjana said, wiping her aunt’s tears.

“As if I’ll let him,” her aunt replied, sniffing.

“S A N J A N A!”

The scream echoed through the house as aunt and niece burst into laughter. Sanjana widened her eyes, while her aunt raised an eyebrow—clearly questioning what she had done this time.

“Bumblebee, save me today, pretty please!” Sanjana pleaded, making innocent eyes.

“You are gone now,” Uncle Adrian announced, walking downstairs with foam all over his head and a towel wrapped around his torso.

“Shit. Shit. Shit.”
Sanjana ran and hid behind her aunt.

“Oh my God! You look so funny, Rian!” Sarah laughed.

“Funny, huh?” Adrian smirked, walking toward her.

“Stop. Don’t you dare,” Sarah warned, trying to control her laughter.

In the midst of chaos and happiness, everyone forgot that this daily madness wasn’t going to last for long.

“I’ll miss you both so much. You know that, right?” Sanjana said softly.

They hugged her tightly. Neither of them was ready to accept how fast their little girl was growing up.

“Sanjana.”
Her brother’s voice stopped her.

She looked at him with wide eyes and a pout.

“You’re going to behave there. Do not—I repeat, do not—create any chaos. Okay?” Aarav said, smiling, though his voice was stoic and firm.

She nodded like the obedient little sister she appeared to be.

Little did they know what was going on inside her mind.

(SHEKAWAT HOUSEHOLD)

Amrita—Samiksha’s mother—had already packed everything her daughter would need for the upcoming months at the dorm.

Samiksha had a habit of forgetting the most important things and overthinking the smallest ones. Amrita smiled as she looked at her daughter sleeping peacefully.

A few hours later, Samiksha came downstairs, ready to leave. Her face was blank—no smile, no emotion.

“Maggie?” Amrita asked gently.

Samiksha nodded.

Time moved quickly. The clock struck 11:00. It was time to leave—for a new school, new classes, a completely new life.

“Take care, baby. Call mama whenever you have free time, okay? You know I love talking to you,” Amrita said softly.

Samiksha smiled faintly and nodded.

The journey to Royals School was silent—just like her life. She looked out the window, memorizing the scenery, capturing every detail with her eyes.

“I want you to behave when we reach there, Samiksha,” her father said coldly, his face as rigid as his voice.

Samiksha rolled her eyes.

(RANAWAT HOUSEHOLD)

Sowmya’s bags were already packed. She hadn’t slept the entire night, so she had spent the time packing—books, clothes, everything she would need.

She took a deep breath and looked around her room one last time. A small smile appeared on her lips, but it vanished the moment her eyes fell on the photo frame beside her bed.

A knock on the door startled her.

“It’s time. We have to leave for school,” a voice called out.

She closed her eyes briefly, then whispered, “Okay.”

Before leaving, she walked back to the photo frame, picked it up, and placed it carefully inside her sling bag.

Little did she know—her silence was about to break, and her life was about to change.

All three girls were on a journey toward something that would make them question their sanity, obsess over people, and fall into something far more dangerous.

And people call it LOVE.
